Boner Billy's Billboard Summer of 67

I cannot remember where and sadly Dad is gone now to tell me. I do know it was in California on the way to Shasta Lake, summer trip 1967. I was too young to get what was so funny but remember Dad laughing and turning the car around and going back to take this picture. We then ran into Boner Billy’s Famous Hot Dogs and stopped for lunch. It was the best hot dog to date and lived up to its name as I could not finish it. Dad got a shirt and hat and had them for years and whenever he had it on sure got a lot of great laughs.

Who is Boner  "JR" Billy you ask?

If you have not heard you soon will hear the buzz throughout Las Vegas about Boner "JR" Billy the great, great, great grandson of American hero Boner "Bronco" Billy. Here is what we know about JR, a man who has taken Las Vegas by storm. Charming, handsome, schooled in Switzerland and did I mention, rich!  Wow what a package for a lucky girl, as the men is 6'6", movie star looks and single! The next question is what pulled JR off his yacht in Monte Carlo, ski lodge in the Alps or wherever this Playboy was hanging out?   It seems JR is in town on family business to help launch Boner Billy's Famous Hot Dogs Viva Las Vegas restaurant. Legend has it that great, great grandpa, American hero, Boner "Bronco" Billy  introduced, what was later called a hot dog as early as 1848.

Rick Perry ready for Big Boner

Boner Billy's Famous Hot Dogs has helped kick off this years political season by offering candidates one of Boner Billy’s namesake, a 12 inch hot dog called, “Big Boner” as a way of saying good luck.
