Who is Boner  "JR" Billy you ask?

If you have not heard you soon will hear the buzz throughout Las Vegas about Boner "JR" Billy the great, great, great grandson of American hero Boner "Bronco" Billy. Here is what we know about JR, a man who has taken Las Vegas by storm. Charming, handsome, schooled in Switzerland and did I mention, rich!  Wow what a package for a lucky girl, as the men is 6'6", movie star looks and single! The next question is what pulled JR off his yacht in Monte Carlo, ski lodge in the Alps or wherever this Playboy was hanging out?   It seems JR is in town on family business to help launch Boner Billy's Famous Hot Dogs Viva Las Vegas restaurant. Legend has it that great, great grandpa, American hero, Boner "Bronco" Billy  introduced, what was later called a hot dog as early as 1848.

Like the classic true American hero, here comes Boner Billy riding into town to save the day. The burning question around the Vegas Strip these days is who will be lucky enough to land Boner Billy’s Famous Hot Dogs at their casino? Planet Hollywood Resort & Casino, a Vegas hot spot has Pink’s Hot Dogs who serves up a nice hot dog but most agree it does not compared to Boner Billy’s lineup of what most will say is simply the best of the best.

The team at Boner Billy’s recently stated it has Las Vegas on the radar screen. The question remains, which casino would best serve as the ideal home to showcase Boner Billy’s Famous Hot Dogs, gifts and apparel items. It has been said that the best fit might be the Hard Rock Hotel & Casino, Palms, Rio the list goes on and on as Vegas has a lot of outstanding hotels, resorts and casinos.

Not since Elvis has there been such a buzz, I guess we need to start coining the phrase, "Boner Billy has entered the building." Until it's official the question will remain, who will land Lucky 7's and get Boner Billy’s Famous Hot dogs to call their casino home.

Rick Perry ready for Big Boner

Boner Billy's Famous Hot Dogs has helped kick off this years political season by offering candidates one of Boner Billy’s namesake, a 12 inch hot dog called, “Big Boner” as a way of saying good luck.

Now that presidential hopeful Rick Perry has vaulted to the top of the GOP field we feel it’s time to offer Mr. Perry one of Boner Billy's, Big Boners. I guess the real question would be, can Rick Perry handle a big boner?

When we first got into the weenie business, we sold hot dogs from The Great American Hot Dog Machine, a wild, custom built 3-wheeled motorcycle. Later on, we had a series of Datsun pick up trucks and then several other mobile designs in the works when we realized that we needed a restaurant and soon retired the mobile vending concept entirely. However, we soon realized that we needed to build a smaller, more affordable weenie mobile, not to sell hot dogs from but to promote The Hot Dog Hall Of Fame and 13 plus years later, we are finally within sight of our goal; several month's work is all that stands between us and completion. Additionally, our aim has shifted slightly and evolved into an attempt to seize the official Land Speed Record for productmobiles, established by Al Unser Jr. in 1999, when he piloted the Oscar Mayer Wienermobile to a speed of just over 100 MPH on the famous Indianapolis oval. We aim to beat that record by a substantial margin and we are preparing another engine, one with substantially more power than Lamborweenie's "daily driver" motor.

Michele Bachmann and the Big Boner Hot Dog

Michele Bachmann has recently promised to drop the price of gas to under $2 a gallon. Bachmann also called the tax code "a weapon of mass destruction," and said, "We need to get rid of the blood-sucking tax code. It's got to go, just scrap the current tax code."

With such bold promises, American Hero Boner Billy has now stepped forward with his own promise to Michele Bachmann. Boner Billy’s famous Bonermobile food truck remains the favorite but the new BB food unit, which will come in 2 sizes is set up for big events and can service thousands of happy customers when needed

The team at Boner Billy's shares the 4 best ways to prepare Hot Dogs

Always use Natural Casing Hot Dogs when possible. Never puncture the skin as the best hot dog is a juicy one!

Boiling

Fill a pot halfway with water. Bring to a slow, rolling boil. Use tongs to gently drop hot dogs in the water. Allow to cook 3 to 4 minutes. Remember to use tongs to remove from water.

Grilling

Cook hot dogs on high heat on an open grill. Use tongs, not a fork, when turning the dogs. Stabbing releases the juices, drying out the meat. Grill a minute or two on all sides, turning often to prevent the skin from burning. The aim is to heat dogs until they are uniformly covered in grill lines and even a little burnt desired.

Steaming

Use a Dutch oven fitted with a steamer rack, or a bamboo steamer or a pan with enough water, beer or broth to reach just below the steamer rack. Do not overfill and run the risk of liquid bubbling into the hot dogs. Bring the liquid to a boil, lower heat to low and add hot dogs to the steamer basket. Cover and steam 5 to 7 minutes or until hot dogs are heated through. To steam your rolls, stack them on top of the dogs during the last two minutes of cooking.

Boiling

Heat a saute pan on medium high. Lightly coat the pan with vegetable oil. When pan is hot, add the hot dogs. Use tongs or a spatula to turn the hot dogs frequently to prevent burning. Saute for about 5 minutes or until the hot dog is crispy on all sides.

Boner Billy’s Memorabilia Sold at Auction

This 1962 vintage Boner Billy’s lunch box set just sold at auction to the highest bidder. The seller, Norm Jones fondly remembers the day back in 1963 when he got the lunch box from dear old mom. Norm said, “I hate to part with it, but sure the love the money I received from the sale.” Norm also has other vintage memorabilia from the Boner Billy’s collection, as well as items from the “Boner Billy’s Fun House” television show.
